It has been days and nights,
Nights longer than the days,
The land is frozen and the bays;
The words have dissolved,
In the dark cold silence,
Pricks and pains one can sense;
Not a single ray of hope,
The hopeful eyes can see,
To break the ice in the sea;
The dawn can’t help,
Not even the spring,
One can’t fly with a broken wing;
It’s “your” rise that is longed for,
Like the sun for the earth,
To give a rejuvenated new birth!

Shed the wings. It’s painful. But then you might feel the new air.
