The ice knife of ignorance,
Destroys serene innocence;
It strikes the heart,
Breaking it apart;
Without a single trace of blow,
Only water drops would flow;
Leaving no sign of pierce,
Bloodless pain full of tears;
Invisible and hidden,
The act is forgiven;
Time heals the wound,
But with a loud tear sound;
But the knife easily escapes,
Not leaving a single trace.

How very true. The sharp words of anger goes through the heart like a knife piercing but no blood but tears. I do know this feeling. Wounds heal with time, but scars remain sometime for ever !!!
