The wicked beauty

The beautiful face shone so bright,

Casting its shadow in the midnight;

She dressed in sweetness diabetic,

Evil hidden inside the image exotic;

She cast her spell with her magic black,

Singing a song sweeter than a lark;

Soon she removed the mask so false,

Reached the roof climbing the walls;

The shocked horrified the innocent heart,

She took a knife and broke it apart;

She rose to the sky with a lightening stroke,

It rained blood when she cut her throat;

The wicked won over the pure and clean,

The worst ever defeat the world had seen..

  1. This was a different topic than you usually choose but I could make out your signature of contradictions. Good one… one can almost visualize the unraveling of the mask.

    1. Thanks for your visit to “The words untrammelled”. I have always related fairy tales in a very different way and they always have a hidden story ling under the lines. So just thought of using the same theme!
