Oceanic eyes are tired and old,
Yet she glitters like an old gold;
Cherishing a smile which spreads,
Brightening her charming face;
Sacrifices and pain making her shine,
Getting sweeter with years like the wine;
Deep inside are they secretly hidden,
Tough long paths that brought her wisdom;
Bringing enlightenment taking her to heights,
During thoughtful journeys of mid-nights;
Vanishing the signs of wrinkles and pain,
Lively, young and evergreen again!

The words describe a wise mother aging to her mature years. It sounds somewhat like me I don’t know the wise part though. Having a kind and good heart does make one look much younger for her years as I do. Thanks for your lovely poem. Love and Light from me ๐ โค

I guess I too fit the bill as I must be around your mom’s age as I have two little grand daughters as well. And this current profile picture is only like two years ago ๐
