Wounded body red and blue,
Knees bleeding and elbows too;
Thanks to the muddy stains,
They easily numb the real pains;
Tired is the body and very stiff,
It takes away the deep grief;
Then I realize these will soon heal,
But bleeding heart will always feel;
Torn skin can be cured my dear,
But torn emotions die forever.
