A ‘good morning’ made my day

I entered my office security gate with sleepy eyes and Monday blues. Like every day I opened my handbag for the daily security check process. This is the most irritating thing of the day I feel. It takes more time when I am late and have to punch in at the earliest. I hate this process. I reluctantly held my hand bag in front of the lady security guard. Unexpectedly she smiled and said “Good Morning”. It broke the monotony and my bored face lit up and wished her back! She passed on that smile to me and I suddenly felt a gush of cheerfulness in me! I realized how easily a word of care, a warm wish or a smile can spread happiness and I determined to spread it every day πŸ™‚ Cheers!

  1. Hi Chitkala, thanks for choosing to follow my blog heartshabitation. A smile can certainly have a positive effect on the world. I try to smile at people as often as I can. Your profile photo is very beautiful by the way. Blessings
