The little one

My little emotion decided to leave me,

To walk to the doorstep of your heart,

It waited for a very long time there,

‘You will make it yours’, it thought;

It knocked and you opened the door,

It spread its arms and waved at you,

Singing and dancing looking into your eyes,

Meeting you, was it’s dream come true;

But, you did not notice the tiny one,

You badly ignored the poor thing dear,

It returned to me getting disappointed,

And jumped out of my eyes becoming a tear.

  1. I identify with your comments. In the ‘real’ world under my real name, I hold a Master’s degree a Post- Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree and a teaching qualification. None of them have made me rich, quite the opposite, in fact. Under my pseudonym, under this seminal blog (and my seminal Facebook page), I am, however, enriched because my true vocation is writing (even though, for the time being, I have earned nothing from it). It a craft to be developed and improved upon, perpetually, and through my writing I express my freedom. Thank you, Chitkala, for following my page. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
