The cold, winter, sudden storm,
Made me feel high and warm;
Intoxication in this air so cool,
Poured in my heart’s love pool;
Naughty, gushing, chilled breeze,
Froze those touching memories;
The heavens poured love shower,
Giving me an eternal hangover;
On the dark, dreamy, heavy cloud,
I merrily slept very deep and sound;
That moony, mystic, moon-lit night,
Elated me to the epitome of height.

Winters in Kashmir are so harsh. But this poem has made me to think of the winter in altogether different way. Completely different from the Chillai-Kalan (The harsh phase of winter in Kashmir), it is totally mesmerizing.
You can check my not-so-mesmerising posts of my blog: https://thenaiemsblog.wordpress.com and maybe give me some feedback.

I think I should spend some of the winter there. Atleast it would be better than -6° C temperatures. Or I can sit back, take a “Kangri” and read some beautiful WordPress blogs.
