He said “I do not”

The breeze blew,

The leaves flew,

I softly confessed,

That I love you;

The leaves knew,

The breeze knew,

That I wanted to,

Be one with you;

But my thoughts fought,

My emotions thought,

And that was why,

My feelings got blocked;

Then the breeze stopped,

The hurt heart stopped,

Because he bluntly said,

Thar I do not and will not.

I am passionate poet and writer. Hi, Recently, I wrote a story and screenplay for a short film 'Being Human' which was screened at Cannes Festival, France. Also, many of my articles have been published in reputed newspapers and magazines. Words and thoughts flow untrammelled when the heart is brimmed with emotions and strong feelings!I love to get drenched in them! This is a platform for sharing my thoughts on life, love, and philosophy. I have done my graduation in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in HR. However, my heart finds its way to the world of art.

  1. Love felt in one’s heart is what needs to be cherished and loved, not the love that was not received.

    I love this. Very emotional and realistic. 😘
