Eternal happiness is difficult to realize as happy moments don’t last long. Perhaps, that is the reason why some of us feel that eternal happiness is a myth. But this holds true if we think of happiness on a shorter span of time. Nothing lasts long and how can happy moments be an exception to it?
If we look at happiness on a larger canvas of time we see zillions of happy moments spread across. If we cherish the happiness of one moment in our memories till the next moment arrives, happiness can surely be eternal then!!After all it all depends on how we look at it. So use this mind trick andstay happy forever. π
Cheers to eternal happiness!Cheers to smiles!

Great post, happiness is eternal and if we focus more on the small things like you said, the reward will be bigger and greater!

The source of happiness, I believe, is critical. As long as it is external, happiness is transient. But when we learn to cultivate an internal one, happiness is longer lasting.

Very true, and thanks for promoting good peace and happiness. Though I feel I hear many focus on the negative, it is truer that the more frequent experience is the happier experiences in our lives. Again, thanks for spreading the positive. π

I wish I could cherish my memories; but a lot of the time it feels like the things I remember happened to a different person.. But, writing is all I need to be happy anyway.

Regarding how nothing lasts long and how happy moments are no exception, this couldn’t be more true of those unhappy moments. If only ‘nothing lasts long’ could be equally applicable to positive times as negative times. Happy periods for a lot of people are shorter than unhappy times, but I get what you’re saying; there’s always happiness waiting around the corner & use that to give you hope, hold onto those moments you’ve had (I could be wrong).

If we were always happy, how could we appreciate those special moments? Those times are precious because they donβt last forever. Cheers, Muriel
